Professor Bassey Andah Foundation has opened a Center for Cultural Studies at University of Calabar; Nigeria.

Excellence in Governance-The Story of two Cities on the Calabar and Limpopo Rivers. In collaboration with University of Cape Town, South Africa.

An International Conference on Indigenous Technology as a reference point achieving Sub Saharan Africa’s Millennium Development Goals is currently planned

The Foundation shall seek to establish linkages between universities in Nigeria and Universities in Africa to develop a quantum of academic exchange for the benefit of the people of Africa and in the spirit of NEPAD.

To date nine (9) Memorial lectures have been carried out.The Foundation has also research projects, including the ongoing project on Excellence in Governance - jointly with University of Cape Town, South Africa. The Project leader is Professor Melvin Ayogu, a Professor of Economics. Also the Foundation is currently planning a conference on Technology development - Past, Present and Future in Africa.
