Primate Conservation in Cross River State-Zena Tooze (2000)

This lecture was delivered by Zena Tooze on January 6, 2000. The subject of the lecture focuses on the importance of wildlife conservation in Cross River State. The paper addresses and recommends how to stop or change the trend towards rapidly decreasing primate population and reduction of biodiversity in Cross River’s tropical rain forest, especially through co-operation between the conservation agencies, schools and the host comunities. This subjected interested and fascinated Professor Bassey Andah, especially after he shifted his research focus to the Cross River region in the 1980s and 1990s.
